The Institute for Peace of Mind offers its help and services to German-speaking patients and clients around the world. This also means that there are countless different health insurance companies where you can be insured. As different as the health insurance companies are, so are their tariffs.
We therefore ask for your understanding that we can only treat self-payers. Of course, we will be happy to assist you if you need invoices or diagnostic keys. Billing for privately insured persons is based on the fee schedules of the health insurance companies and those for alternative practitioners for psychotherapy.
Some health insurance companies (including statutory ones) support their insured persons in their desire to quit smoking or reduce excess weight. Please inquire whether your health insurance covers the costs of hypnotherapy.
In principle, your 20-minute consultation at our Hypnosis Therapy Centre is free of charge.
Tax Enforcement
In most countries, treatment costs – if they are not or only partially covered by a health insurance company – can be claimed in the income tax return. In Germany, for example, under the heading „extraordinary burdens“.
This possibility also exists in the USA. In Florida, for example, the costs of hypnotherapy for smoking cessation and weight loss are also recognized for tax purposes. The only requirement: a medical certificate stating that the attending physician is in favor of weight loss or smoking cessation.
Discretion
Of course, we are subject to confidentiality in the context of our therapies and treatments. If your treatment is carried out via video, these lines are also secured.

We want to make your life easier. Therefore, you can make an appointment digitally at any time on our homepage. With the exception of the free introductory appointment, almost all of our sessions and treatment appointments can be booked in advance. Our payment system covers all common means of payment. If your banking institution is not yet covered by our system, please contact us so that we can change this as soon as possible.
Of course, you will also receive a receipt for your payment. If you also need an invoice with a diagnostic key or similar, please contact us about it at your appointment or write a short e-mail to kontakt@institut-seelenfrieden.de. We will then comply with your request as soon as possible.
Of course, we understand if you have to cancel an appointment at short notice. Please do this at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you inform us at short notice or do not show up for an appointment, we unfortunately have to charge the full amount.
